I carry your heart with me.
by E.E. Cummings
I carry your heart with me. I carry it in my heart.
I am never without it, anywhere I go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling.
I fear no fate, for you are my fate, my sweet.
I want no world, for beautiful you are my world, my true.
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant,
and whatever a sun will always sing is you.
Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher
than the soul can hope or mind can hide.
and this is the wonder that is keeping the stars apart.
I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart…
I’m sharing this prayer in time for the feast day of the Black Nazarene – January 9.
BELOVED LORD JESUS OF NAZARETH, I COME TO YOU TO HELP ME.
LIFE IS A CONSTANT STRUGGLE, AND I NOW FEEL THE PAIN OF MY JOURNEY.
BLESS ME JESUS AND TEACH ME TO LISTEN, TO ALL THE EVENTS OF MY LIFE,
KNOWING THAT NOTHING HAPPENS BY CHANCE. EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS HAS A REASON.
WHEN I FEEL THE PAIN OF SICKNESS, TEACH ME TO COPE WITH LOVING SURRENDER
AND TO BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF HEALING.
WHEN I EXPERIENCE EMOTIONAL, FINANCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL BROKENNESS,
HELP ME TO RISE UP WITH BELIEF THAT WITH GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
I COME TO YOU TODAY, TO PRAY FOR HEALING. PLEASE HEAR MY PETITION (SAY PETITIONS…)
I PRAY TO YOU AND MY MOTHER MARY TO ANSWER MY PRAYERS AMEN.
JESUS, I PUT MY TRUST IN YOU!
*little history of this iconic image of Jesus,
A life-sized statue from Mexico and came here in the Philippines last 400 years ago, when Spanish colonization has just began. The feast day is celebrated every January 9, and during this day it is accustomed for devotees to do the “pahalik” or to kiss or touch the image as a sign of respect and honor to our scourged Savior. It is also a tradition to walk barefooted which depicts humility just like the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Father’s Day used to hold some rancor as I wasn’t blessed to have one I can praise and greet on this special day. It was impertinent and seemed like an ordinary day in our lives. But now seeing my daughter loved by her dad so dearly is a dream come true for me. It patched up the missing pieces of my childhood’s yearnings.
I’m blessed to have the best dad for my angel and to have God the Father who is above all is the source of these blessings and love.
Happy Father’s Day to all dads!
Today, I’m celebrating my birthday, never mind the age 😉 but i just like to thank everyone who loves me, who has touched & motivated me. And above all – dear God who loves me perfectly, with His infallible love.
With much love
Took me awhile to write my very first post. But still hooray!
I know many started blogging way before me and were very successful in their own fields. Why do i start my own blog? I met two young bloggers last month and I was immensely inspired. Thinking, maybe i can share all my collections to everyone instead of writing a review. I’ve been always wanting to help and perhaps this is one way to do so. Follow me and let’s explore the world and My Panoplies… Continue reading “Hello world!”
